Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the rules for using TargetCDR to request and coordinate Crash Data Retrieval services.

Effective date: September 1, 2026

About TargetCDR

TargetCDR is a service coordination platform operated by Crash Data Solutions LLC. We help authorized requesters coordinate Crash Data Retrieval and Event Data Recorder services with independent qualified experts.

TargetCDR is not a law firm, insurer, vehicle manufacturer, data recorder manufacturer, or the assigned CDR expert. We do not provide legal advice, insurance advice, or an opinion about fault, liability, or the meaning of vehicle data.

Authority and accurate information

You may request access to a vehicle or vehicle data only if you are the vehicle owner or have all permissions, consents, assignments, court authority, or other lawful authorization required for the requested service. You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and current information.

Service requests and CDR experts

TargetCDR receives and coordinates requests and may identify, assign, or dispatch an independent CDR expert. Each expert is responsible for the professional services they perform, their qualifications, methods, and work product. A request does not guarantee expert availability, an appointment, or successful data retrieval.

Payments, reports, and platform use

Prices, deposits, estimates, and payment terms are shown or communicated before the applicable charge. You authorize TargetCDR to share information reasonably necessary to coordinate a request and to receive, store, process, and deliver related reports and case materials to authorized recipients.

You may use the platform only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, or submit false, fraudulent, or abusive requests.

Disclaimers and liability

The platform and coordination services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. TargetCDR does not warrant uninterrupted availability, successful data retrieval, or that a report will meet a particular legal, evidentiary, insurance, or litigation purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TargetCDR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the platform or a coordinated service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
